CREATIVE AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

Neil Haston’s creative marketing expertise spans decades and, while in London, he worked on many blue-chip accounts, producing creative campaigns for Hitachi, Glaxo Smith Kline, Barratt Homes, Swiss Re and the launch of the very first Samsung product into the UK market – a microwave oven! B2B and B2C campaigns have included WeightWatchers, The London Stock Exchange, RBS, Glaxo Smith Kline, Shell and a rebrand for Norwegian based multi-national Dolphin Drilling. Neil moved back to Scotland in 1990 when he co-founded creative agency Smarts Advertising & Design in Edinburgh, eventually returning to his home town of Aberdeen in 1996 as Creative Director of Tayburn, Covey McCormick in 1998 and Citrus Mix until 2017. During this time Neil created memorable work for clients across multiple industry sectors including the Energy sector. Neil has numerous creative awards to his name, including two British Direct Mail Gold Awards, Roses Awards, Scottish Advertising Awards and IPA Marketing Effectiveness Awards.

MARGUERITE HASTON

DIRECTOR, VOICEOVER & SOCIAL MEDIA

Marguerite’s background in the dramatic arts, as a stage actor and production director, helped her establish a successful career as a presenter and voiceover talent. Although her natural voice is neutral Scottish, she can deliver flawless accents from RP to almost any UK dialect and has a natural talent for impressions.  Marguerite has worked with the BBC, STV, Radio Forth, Radio Clyde, Radio Tay, MFR, Northsound and agency work for Shell, Healthcare International, The Press and Journal, DC Thomson and Macphie of Glenbervie.  She works from her own, purpose-built recording studio using the superb-quality Rode NT2A microphone, Sennheiser mixing desk, and professional editing software to supply fully edited voiceovers in any file format required. Marguerite can also record live with production companies using Cleanfeed if preferred.
